Little Big Planet

Little Big Planet has finally landed on the PS3, bringing with it a whole new world of interactivity like you've never seen before!

In this side scrolling platformer you play as something called a Sack boy which is basically a rag doll but this doll is unique as he is completely customisable, everything from his clothing to his facial expressions can be changed enabling you to add your own touch of personality to the game.

In the one player story mode you play through 8 individually Themed Worlds which each consisting of 3 or 4 levels. The worlds are all highly imaginative and will keep you in awe from beginning to end with their creativity.  You will however, probably complete the one player Story mode in around 5 Hours but they do have a lot of replay value in that you can collect a whole host of prizes which you can use to customise you Sack Boy with further.

These levels can also be played through in Multiplayer with up to 4 players combining either on one console or online which provides much more fun.
The level editor in Little Big Planet is perhaps the most exciting aspect of this title as it allows you to completely build your own levels using every object from the story mode as well as being able to create you own objects (including adding pictures or yourself via the eye toy) which react like they would in the real world. Skateboards roll when jumped on, rockets that zoom about and you can even add enemies and tell them how they should react to you.  Considering how complex this must be, the developers have really made it as simple as possible to learn to use.

You can go online to Little Big Planet World and play other peoples levels which they have built as well as rate them and upload your own, already people have re-created other games such as Super Mario Brothers and Star Wars which gives you an idea of just how imaginative you can be with this and makes the game almost limitless as there will always be new levels for you to discover online and play in with friends.
